- These treatments are recommended for adults ages 21 and up. Individuals with a history of severe allergies to hyaluronic acid or lidocaine should not receive this treatment. Likewise, people with psoriasis, eczema, rosacea, and other inflammatory skin conditions should not receive Restylane® injections. Patients with bleeding disorders should also avoid this treatment.
How long will I need to take off to recover?
- Restylane® is an outpatient, minimally invasive procedure. You can return to your normal activities as soon as the treatment is over. However, you may experience some swelling, redness, and bruising around the area. These are mild symptoms that usually fade in less than a week’s time.
